Hi, I’m Chris. Founder of Current CODE. We are thrilled you found us, and look forward to working with you.

Current CODE is not an agency.

We have had a traditional digital agency for over ten years. For over ten years our team of developers have built thousands of apps and websites for our clients. As an agency, we traditionally embeded with our clients; designing, developing, and marketing their products at every level. We have made lifelong friendships and colleagues from these clients.

Like you, we spend countless hours trying to meet our client’s design, development, and marketing needs.

But after 10+ years we realized that we are really good at taking designs from freelance designers, design studios, and partner agencies and building stellar apps and websites. So we decided to do what we do best and call it Current CODE.

But, Current CODE is not an agency.

We are a designer’s production team. It is your project. Your client, your vision, your money. We simply turn your vision into code.

You see, we have dozens of developers who can produce great products without having to write proposals, show impressive portfolios, and dive into the scoping and selling of a project. They are great at coding. You are great at landing clients and designing. Let’s work together so you can sell the entire project to your client, not just the designs. Win-win.

We are not going to flake on you.

We have heard lots of horror stories about missed deadlines, missed budgets, and lost clients because designers or agencies hire a friend, a relative, or another developer that only works nights and weekends on side projects. Not all side-hustling developers are undependable or bad (we all have to start somewhere), but it is hard to put your reputation on the line when so much could go wrong. You can not build or grow a business if you can not dependably deliver what you are selling. You can not confidently sell services if you doubt you can deliver. We started Current CODE for a bunch of reasons. There is a gap in the market for designers, design studios, and agencies: a lot of design work, and not a lot of connection to dependable developers.

I am not saying there are not a ton of good developers – there are. I am not saying there are not a ton of great developer agencies – there are. But few of them focus purely on turning your designs into products affordably and precisely.

This model is a win-win for both designers and agencies and us. Designers, design studios, ad agencies, PR firms, SEO shops, etc. don’t have to try and become experts in code. We already are. We do not have to spend all our time finding clients and doing UX research and planning, and designing UIs for products – because you are already doing that so well.

Because you have the client, are scoping the project, designing the app or site, and managing the client – we can offer tens of thousands of hours of dependable development experience and still leave you room to add your margin.
